SULLIVAN - A heads-up stop by a Sullivan Police officer ended in an arrest of a man wanted on a Franklin County warrant and also wanted by Crawford County authorities as part of a stolen property investigation. Sullivan Police pulled over a white passenger car Thursday afternoon, Jan. 17, 2013 at about 3:30 in the 200 block of Springfield Road near Cumberland Way.

Police say Anthony A. Young, 34, was taken into custody on a Franklin County warrant for driving while suspended. Young was also wanted by Crawford County. Shortly after the arrest, Crawford County Sheriff Randy Martin arrived on the scene, as well as another Crawford County deputy.

Police removed several items from the vehicle Young was driving, including a large air compressor. Those items were taken as evidence.
