SULLIVAN - Only two elected offices involved in the upcoming April 2, 2013 municipal election will have challengers. City Collector Judy McPherson will be challenged by Staci Pfeuffer and Joe Stillson. Pfeuffer ran two years ago in a crowded field and was narrowly defeated by incumbent McPherson. Pfeuffer lists her address as Falcon Drive, on the city's north side; Stillson lives on Golf Drive, on the city's south side near the golf course.
Ward 2 Alderman Craig Kase will face Sandra K. Davidson for the two-year aldermanic seat. Kase was appointed to fill the unexpired term of Michael Lohden, who left the City Council when he moved out of the ward.
Ward 3 Alderman Dennis Watz, Alderman Ward 1 Mike Ryan Jr., Mayor Tom Leasor, and Judge David S. Smith are unopposed.
