STANTON - On March 14 around midnight, Franklin County deputies responded to the Lone Pine Motel east of Stanton regarding an assault.  Upon arrival, they encountered an intoxicated white male subject lying on the ground near the parking lot.  A 29-year-old female was located lying on the bathroom floor inside one of the apartments with moderate to severe injuries to her face and body.

The victim was unable to speak while on the scene due to the extent of the injuries. She was transported by St. Clair Ambulance to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital for treatment. Before departure she was able to inform deputies the injuries she sustained were a result from her boyfriend, whom was being detained by deputies at the motel.

The suspect, a 25-year-old male refused to comment on the incident. He was arrested for investigation of assault.  He was transported to the Franklin County Detention Facility.  He is identified as Lucas Glen from St. Clair.  He has been charged with assault first and unlawful use of a weapon.  Bond has been set at $50,000.
